Translation:

In the thoughts of the creator the ancient living veda has born..omm
The earliest salutable hymn that has enabled senses to the human nerves..omm
The representation(exhibition) of vishwarupa that has reflected in the ponds of eyes...omm
The Brahma's song that has reverberated around the mountains of heart...aaa
This is the gist of sama veda, which is like the movement of angels
The life song that I am going to sing...this song

I re-wrote this poem By becoming Brahma him self ...
I made you hear(sang) this song By becoming a bird ...

On the flute of Eastern side and on the strings of morning sun...
becoming the sounds of woken up birds on the stage of blue skies..
when the rythm of that spelt twitter sound has become the initiator of world..
By making it the holy message of universal act..

I re-wrote this poem By becoming Brahma him self ...
I made you hear(sang) this song By becoming a bird ...

The waves of living sounds that will speak out of every infant that is born..
The sounds of a heart that are like Mrudanga's sounds when the heart is responding to an emotion (chetana)
By making those earliest tunes on the adi tala as the eternal life saga..
That ever going natural(creation) process ...

I re-wrote this poem By becoming Brahma him self ...
I made you hear(sang) this song By becoming a bird ...

My Inhalation is the poem..
My Exhalation is the song..

Many thanks for posting the meaning here.An excellent song too.I used to often wonder the meaning of the song and had a vague understanding of it before reading the meaning here. But after reading your post, things are crystal clear. Meanings of many words in the song have become clear now and I now know how wrong I was in interpreting the meanings of certain words.
Have a nice day.

Hey! Thank you very much for sharing the meaning. I appreciate. and a small correction
naa uchwasam kavanam naa nishwasam 'gamanam', it is not gamanam, it is GAANAM.
Hats off to Seeta Rama Shastry gaaru, he proves our language is not just sweet, it is vast too.

hey there are few mistakes in lyrics..
palikina kilakila Svanamula swaragathi jagathiki sreekaramu kaaga..
viswakaVyamunakidi bhashyamugaaa....

saagina srushti vilaasamu ne,
stanza means..

the east side as veena and sun rays are the strings of that veena, by the music of veena all the birds has woke up and flying on the stage called sky..

even vipanchi means Veena here not a bird.. hope u correct them

could not stop praising this song when I understood the meaning today. Even I am from andhra pradesh (and I adore telugu language), 70% of the words are unknown to me so far. Really shame on my part. But I am so glad that today I understood the meaning of this song because of you. Thank you.

Although there are one or two mistakes, the translation proves that the translator has excellent profiency in English along with love for Telugu. అందరూ కృతఘ్నతలు (kruthagnathalu) చెప్తున్నారు NTRలా ... కృతఙ్నతలు (kruthajnathalu) చెప్తే బాగుంటుందేమో... Anyway excellent translation... Kudos...

Seriously... Awesome translation. Thank you :)

Never easy to translate such masterpieces, great effort., but whether by intention or not, certain deviations are made from original meaning. ex: 'Veeniya' is not flute but Veena (violin kind of instrument). Also, more accurate translation for the verse 'sarasa swara sura jhari gamana-mou saama veeda saramidi' could be 'This is the gist of saama veda which is a flow of heavenly stream of beautiful (musical) notes'.
